Working in collaboration with the client, the landscape was designed to reinforce the home’s traditional architecture, introducing structure and symmetry while ensuring the space remained comfortable and usable for everyday living.


While the property carried strong architectural presence, the surrounding landscape lacked the organization needed to support that scale, resulting in a disconnect between the home and its exterior spaces.


Through precise alignment of planting, hardscape, and spatial layout, the design establishes a clear hierarchy—balancing formal symmetry with softer landscape transitions to avoid rigidity.
